Executives and managers from Albertsons braved the cold and rain Monday to bring some holiday cheer to patients at City of Hope with a large truck that delivered more than one thousand toys, video games, dolls and stuffed animals to City of Hope’s Pediatrics Department. Hundreds of the youngest patients along with their siblings will receive these gifts throughout the holiday season.
The toys were collected and donated by 164 Albertsons retailers across southern California. Albertsons executives and managers hand delivered five palettes of children’s toys to Helford Hospital at City of Hope include Jim Wallace, vice president, operations, and Dennis Bassler, vice president, operations, Mike Acheson, district manager, Albertsons, Jim Osiecki, district manager, Marilyn Gettys, supply manager, Dennis Bassler, vice president, operations, Jim Wallace, vice president, operations, Raul Alcarez, district manager, Clay Riemersma, driver.
