Published: Friday, February 5th, 2010

The Foothill Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Inc. hosted a very successful community mixer in the City of Monrovia on Friday January 29, 2010 at the Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf. The event was well attended, with Monrovia Councilman Clarence Shaw, City Manager Steve Ochoa, Monrovia Schools Community Liaison Martha Moncada and representatives from the American Cancer Society, and Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority in attendance.  The venue was filled with red & white balloons and a beautiful table display of Foothill Alumnae Chapter’s many awards for outstanding community service.

Guests enjoyed warm cups of coffee and an opportunity to network. Monrovia Councilman Clarence Shaw was especially excited to learn of the Foothill Alumnae Chapter’s presence and expressed a desire to work more closely with the Foothill Alumnae Chapter!
The Community’s next opportunity to meet and greet with members of the Foothill Alumnae Chapter is at the Famous Game Table Party being held on Saturday February 27, 2010 at 4th Dimension in Monrovia, proceeds to sponsor chapter programs & scholarship awards. The game table party tickets are only $20 and are a fun way to indulge in games such as the domino tournament, bid whist, karaoke, music & dancing. Put your Game Face On & Join the Foothill Alumnae Chapter Deltas on the 27th of February.
