Foothill Unity’s 12th Annual Back To School Event Great Success

Santa Anita Park provided its facility to Foothill Unity Center for its 12th Annual l Back to School Distribution event on Thursday.The event provided 2,000 needy children from surrounding communities with new clothes, backpacks, school supplies, haircuts, etc. More than 40 vendors and local organizations helped provide
those “back-to-schoolers” . There were 122 children of backstretch workers, underscoring Santa Anita’s commitment to helping its own children in need, as well as those in proximity to The Great Race Place.
