Published: Friday, May 21st, 2010

About a dozen Monrovia officers and detectives descended upon a vacant building owned by the city of Monrovia on Duarte near California Friday afternoon when someone noticed the gate to the entrance had been cut open and a suspect seen on the grounds.

Following investigation and after making entry to the building, no suspects were found as of 2:30pm. However, a vehicle nearby was discovered to be reported stolen.

The Pasadena Police air operations helicopter had to return for refueling after circling the large industrial complex for over an hour searching for suspect(s). No other information was available at time of this post.

WHAT!? 3 districts, with rifles, all for a ‘burglar?’ I’m flabberghasted. Must have been a day full of nothing to do that it took 3 districts to gather for the purpose of finding & arresting a simple burglar. Makes me wonder if Monrovia police dept is strong enough to handle our worst situations, especially the vermit gangs; worthless pieces of scum on our planet.
