Monrovia Firefighter Accused of Embezzling $50,000

Monrovia firefighter Todd Lambert pleaded not guilty Monday to embezzling approximately $50,000 from the Monrovia Firefighters Association union.

Lambert, 34, was arrested by Monrovia police in November for grand theft by embezzlement $50,000, according to court documents. Lambert is accused of committing the crime(s) between July 1, 2007 and August 31, 2009, according to documents. Lambert’s preliminary hearing was scheduled for Jan. 15.

Bail has been set at $208,000.
