The La Salle High School Advanced Band recently participated in the Southern California School Band and Orchestra Association’s spring festival at Santa Monica High School. They received ratings of “Excellent” and “Superior” for their performance from the judges. “The band sounded very good and performed well — they got to perform in a beautiful hall with wonderful acoustics. It was a great tune-up for Chicago,” said Ms. Megan Foley, Band Director at La Salle. The La Salle Band leaves to perform in Chicago on May 30.
